Abhijit Tripathy, a third-year Computer Science and Engineering student at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur has recently been awarded the prestigious IAF Most Promising Startup 2022 award by getting featured in the “Achiever's World” international magazine which has proved the excellent guidance and platform provided by the central university to encourage the swavalambi Chhattisgarh Abhiyan. Abhijit has formed a software company named “Presear Softwares PVT LTD” which excels in providing customized software solutions and products related to nine different sectors including agriculture, healthcare and many more. Hailing from a relatively weaker economical background, this boy has fulfilled his dream of building a company by providing employment and contributing to the development of the nation. His vision revolves around improving people’s life by giving them a chance to perform and learn by empowering students with knowledge that can help them in their future careers. Employing around 20 part-time employees and a few full-time ones, this company has already been featured in the prestigious 8th Global Choice Awards 2022 and the business connect magazine. Backed by solid research and development, Abhijit and his team have proved their excellence by acquiring clients from different parts of India as well as overseas countries like the USA and Australia. With projected revenue of $191k this year, the company is investing much of its human resources in research, open-source development and outsourcing software exports. His startup Presear Softwares has also collaborated with Belgium-based company Tree-Nation and plans to plant 20000+ trees by creating more and more forests by 2032. The young boy has two ongoing online Micro Masters degrees in Finance and SCM from Massachusetts Institute of Technology along with his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, from the central university. Abhijit has considered his parents and teachers especially Dr Alok Kumar Singh Kushwaha, HoD, Department of Computer Science and Engineering as the primary credit for his success. According to him, the university has provided him with every resource and guidance since day one and conveyed his gratitude to the university, especially to the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor for his encouragement towards swavalambi Chhattisgarh Abhiyan and entrepreneurship.
